HISTORIC PROVENANCEThe Side Table Americana is inspired by a drawing of a table (ca. 1870–80) in the collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The design created by A. Damon et Cie (French, active ca. 1870–1900) shows an elegant table with carved trim and turned legs. The low Side Table Americana takes those elegant decorative elements and brings them to life in a black-veneer finish.
